Stress and Causes

The dictionary meaning for stress goes like this, "a state of affair involving demand on physical or mental energy". Coping with radical changes by the physic or mind leads to stress. The reasons are many right from relationship at home, traffic, workplace, etc. Stress is a time demanding factor and can be lessened with certain aids.
Fine, enough with more definitions and explanations. How do we overcome or handle it?
Simple answers are 'Be Aware', 'Micro check yourself'. We need to understand the intensity of any issue or problem that disturbs. For the sake of discussion, let us assume that we've a crucial meeting today for an hour. This clearly shows that the intensity of the stress would be for an hour. Fine, suppose the outcome of the meeting puts us more pressure with another 2 hours, once again there is a time for that pressure. Now comes the real situation. We need to understand the issue to the fullest possible to decide whether the given time is fine to fix it. In otherwords, do we've clear understanding of what the issue is? Do we have all necessary tools to handle it. When things are clear, honestly, the intensity of stress curve would drop down rapidly.
